I think we're worrying a bit too much at this stage of the season. The fact that Rodri is out injured is making everyone nervous and colouring everyone's judgement of how the team is performing. We got the three points, which is the main thing. Not sure what is going on with the defence at the moment, we seem like we are easier to get at this season. I have to give Fulham some credit, they looked dangerous when they were breaking. We could have lost the game if it wasn't for Ederson making some crucial saves.
I find our attacking play a bit boring to watch at the moment, but we were still treated to some great goals. Overall, to be unbeaten in the PL still, with quite a few key players out, and managing to win games like yesterday, shows we are in a good place. I have no doubt the team will click properly in the near future.
However, if we remember previous seasons, we always have stuttering and unconvincing performances this time of year before properly clicking just after Christmas and dominating into the business end of the season.
So everyone should stop worrying, give baldy a bit of time to adjust the team to playing without Rodri, get our injured players back fit and firing, and I think we should have a similar sort of season as we have become used to from the best team in the land and all the world and if the worst comes to the worst, we can always rely on the dippers and tarquins to bottle it at the end of the season.
