Luiz was class tonight looks a quality player.

But on the Chelsea front there formation just is not going to work Anelka Drogba and Torres /Malouda just dont offer enough width Anelka is playing on the wing but never stops cutting inside.

Torres and Drogba just seemed to be getting in each others way constantly against Liverpool and tonight Drogba was dropped.

Also thought Ramires had a brilliant game seems to have finally settled in this league.

Anyway a very good result for us tonight the further points Chelsea are away the better.

Torres and drogba want even on the pitch together!

But on the Chelsea front there formation just is not going to work Anelka Drogba and Torres /Malouda just dont offer enough width Anelka is playing on the wing but never stops cutting inside.

Also thought Ramires had a brilliant game seems to have finally settled in this league.

Anyway a very good result for us tonight further points Chelsea are away the better.

Ramires was useless. Always shooting from distance, and never once looked like scoring.

If Luiz was so exceptional, and Ramires was so great, how come Chelsea scarcely created a decent chance? I don't call long distance shots, of which they had plenty, decent chances. I remember an Essien header and a Torres chance at the end of the 1st half

Lampard was also poor. Assume he's not match-fit yet.

Abramovic should let ancellotti manage the club. I dpubt very much if Ancellotti would have chosen to buy Torres and Luiz in the transfer market if he was left to his own devices, and having done so, most managers would surely have started with Drogba.

we dont need a player like luiz, we need a gritty, terry-esque defender. not that he was grat tonight, but someone of his mould

Kompany is that and more.... unfortunately we dont have the quality to compliment him.

Luiz could and should have been that man,he appears brave,composed,assured and very skillful.
I have hopes for Boateng,however,i've got to say it doesn't look like this lad 'needs time to adjust' and that in itself tells me plenty.

However,back to the game,great result for us,and unexpected!

Ramires is a defensive box to box player not his job to create chances that responsibility lies with Lampard and Malouda.

And how has Luiz got anything to do with attacking play considering hes a defender?

Good results for us but what a pity about that penalty, however, Tottenham are the ones snapping at our heels for now, God I hope we get 4th place.
