Fulham v City Post Match Discussion Thread

1 point won not 2 lost

the start of every season is like this you get off to a flyer win your first 4 games and you think nobody can beat us but also
we have to learn about the level of playing champions league teams in midweek
and then a premeirship game at the weekend is not easy

i did say i take a point before kick off but you have to closed the game when 2 up away from home but a point it was

somebody said on here about utd have all home games and we have all away games in the champions league group games and i find that so wrong and should be changed

maybe we must start to learn and change the training in champions league week or stay over when we play away in the champions league to the weekend and fly in the morning

also just had a look at the table its not that bad
played 5 and had 3 away and 2 home and utd had 3 at home and 2 away

am still on cloud 9 about the new season we are a top 2 team still
and a end of season top 4 club and will be for many more years

come on feel the noize

now the muen wade in for a piss take by making scums match report lead story on the city page! in double size headline.

It makes you cringe doesnt it.

But we thrashed Fulham last season
So. Spurs thrashed us last season. I dont mean just today it makes me cringe its every time we dont win or even if we win someone types some cringey shitty post, I know this is a forum so everyone can have an opinion but it doesnt mean everyone
wants to read it. If noone saw silva's reaction and you have a read on here u would think he got his arse out and told bobby to f**k off

today bobby fucked up and cost us 2 points hopefully it wont happen again and we learn from it

This does not make any sense. We were 2-1 up and looking shaky, so he brought on a defensive player for an attacking one - this should have made it less likely that we drop two points? No?

The argument seems to be that with Silva on we could afford to give them a second and still go on and win it? Don't get it? When Silva was on we were being overrun and it looked like there was only one team likely to score?

So surely the more logical conclusion is that if we left Silva on we'd have been more likely to lose, than to win?

Or to put it another way, no one knows what would have happened had Silva stayed on - nothing is as black and white as Bluemoon likes to make out.

this sounds daft but i think we scored to early in the second half and thought the game was won, dissapointed but lets move on i hope he puts quite a strong team out agains birmingham

That makes no sense.

Mancini cost us the points, but the players scored too early and decided we'd won?

Not a brilliant week for city or the manager but a long long way from a crisis. We need a holding partnership of Barry and ndj for games where the opposition gain control of
The midfield . it barely happened last season but there have been a few little signs this season. It's good news we have a winnable home game next week to get us back on track.

Disappointing but not disastrous
