the question i and many others ask..

why when were 2-0 up AWAY from home at Spurs, still push forward control the game and then go 4-0 and STILL play as if were losing, we faught every ball until the 93rd minute.

what changed today?

quite simply the set up and personnel we finished with on the pitch.

We were never under the cosh paticularly against Spurs. Today we were and it was evident a change was needed. Silva going off was the wrong one. Mancini gambled on us not conceding and when we did concede he had took our best player off leaving us prety fucked.

when we play in these away games we're no longer 'little city' we are most teams 'cup final' today in 2nd half we were put under pressure, not helped by ourselves, mancini made the mistake of taking our main outlet out of the game.
the way we play now, as we seen on wednesday it isnt always going to 'come off' and for some games we will need to move away from total football and pull and sleeves up and dig in.
