You cannot expect perfection every week. It is the height of arrogance. And if it's any consolation, there was nothing brilliant about the Rag and Chav performances either. Both have weaknesses.

i agree but if you want success you cant give away 2 nil leads, the rags might not have been brilliant but they won

So how come the rags managed to do just that last season, then? Unless you think winning the title isn't success.

yes i agree. a bit strange to rest him, but i really think he felt he needed to play that fat bastard tevez to try to make him happy. its frustrating having him in our squad

I was a bit surprised with the substitutions today. The way I saw it Dzeko looked a bit like the Edin of last year. Nothing stuck and he was constantly giving the ball away. Nasri was pretty ineffective too.

We were getting overun in midfield and as someone has already said Yaya and Barry are carrying a lot of games at the moment. So Zabba made sense but it should have been Nasri not Silva who left the pitch. Taking our most effective striker off too seemed strange. It would have been a good chance to see Kun and Carlos link up.

I really don't accept that at all. £200K a week should be sufficient to keep him happy. He can fuck off and lose some weight whilst he's about it.

If he plays Tevez to keep him happy then Mancini isn't the manager we want. He's the manager and should be strong enough to back his own decisions come what may. I like Mancini and think hes done a great job and will continue to do so. Results like todays happen though.

People who complain about rotation are frankly stupid.

All the players have to be rested at some point. It's impossible for them to play every game and maintain a level of performance.

If you play the same team every week at this stage of the season, you will suffer in the 2nd half of the season of burnout.
