Put demichellis in for lescott and navas for jovetic. Jovetic should earn his place from coming off the bench imo.

Only reason I'd be tempted to start Jovetic rather than sub him on is if we're at all worried about his injury/general health, it's better to have him start and sub him off, than sub him on and need to sub him off. You waste a substitution we may not even have available at the time otherwise.

Not sure what I'd do at the back with Liverpool around the corner. Lescott has had some issues with him in the past but his pace will cause Demi problems.

I think Nasri could slot in the middle and play off of Negredo and could also do a job pressing their midfield when we need to. He and Silva could also swap and interchange though out the match. I'd bring in Jovetic as a sub. Don't know if he could start.

What's all this crap having Boyata in the equation at right back?

The only reason he is still at the club is because we foolishly rushed to offer a lucrative contract off the back of a couple games at centre back when we were down to the bare bones.

Again, it's the only reason he was on the bench and was eventually called upon the other night.

I can only assume nobody ever saw him play regular right back at Bolton?

Their fans rated him one of their worst performers last season.

You play Milner, simple as that.

You certainly don't play Clichy at right back.

Would play Demichelis before him, with Lescott or a when fit again Nasty alongside the man from Uccle.

I concur. He's the only option that allows us to keep to our game plan. Good on ball, work rate to get up and down accordingly and a disciplined player who won't find himself out of position. I'd be shocked if Pelligrini is looking past Jimmy.

Don't think Pellers will play Milner at fullback.

Surely our next game is Liverpool at home, followed by the Capital One Cup Final v Utd, with the home leg v Barcelona sandwiched in between.
Squeezing this game in is just outrageous.

Should have really got himself booked at Leicester. Silva may not take part then which will be a blow but I'd rather have him for Liverpool.
