Positives:

David Silva: Woah. Looks back to his best the sexy bastard. Looked the genius we know he is.

Edin Dzeko: It's good that we have one striker who gets a chance and buries it. Should be starting more games.

The defence: One or two shaky moments, but for the most part we looked cool and collective, Nastatic looks like a great signing.

Negatives:

Gareth Barry: I love him, but he's not been with it as of late. Hopefully it's the efect of not having a true pre season, but I want him to get into the game more.

Mario: Come on, get your head down and work. His lazy shooting outside the box looked to be costing us today. However, right at the end, he slid in and made a crucial challenge to end a Fulham attack. More work rate please, you've got the natural talent, put more work in and you'll be unplayable.

All in all, a very tidy performence. Great at times, slow at others, but we dominated the full 90, there was no period in the game where they had any control.

These late goals are gonna kill me off soon though ;)

Good performance today.

I thought the Tevez off decision would cost us. Dzeko should be above Mario every time.

Silva and zabaleta linked well.

Tevez was really pissed off when he didn't get that pen and was superb after that.

Better from Garcia/Barry today and defence was solid.

Easily our best performance of the season so far.

Shades of last season at times with some excellent movement, passing and linking up.

4 major differences for me today:


1. Attitude - looked like we wanted it from the word go. We came to win and to take no shit. Kept our heads when going a goal down.

2. Barry - excellent, he totally ran the midfield and that allowed Garcia to 'relax' and do 'his' own thing.

3. Silva - best performance for fucking months. Looked like he's rediscovered his 'zip', was extremely bright throughout. Popped up all over the pitch and was to hot to handle. Soooo pleased for David.

4. Pressing - this is something sadly lacking up til today. Last year we were hungry as fuck for every ball, we were pressing teams very quickly and hunting in packs. Defending from the front. This was back in full effect today and if you show desire like that you wont often go wrong.

Very pleased for Dzeko. Although I'm not his biggest fan the man is a proper professional. Never skrikes, does what he's asked, when he's asked and took his goal brilliantly.

I think we needed this today. The belief will now come back, especially amongst the fans.

Dortmund are getting a bumming if we turn up on Weds :)

Barry's back, Silva looks more like his old self and Dzecko..... well. That guy has scored so many really important goals for us and that was another one.

Bloody love him.

I'm happy that we have 4 world class strikers, cuz at this point we really need them.

except Mario hasn't shown he's world class in a City shirt for a while.

If we can replace him with some real quality in Jan our title chances will dramatically improve,he's not the answer we need.
