Great game. Watched it online and despite Halsey we looked much more like the City of last season, we can finally actually keep the ball. Although listening to the dribble on MOTD this morning you'd think we were still rubbish.

Yup he does a decent job keeps the ball moving dont give it away and puts himself about a bit

Pound for pound one of the best signings the club made post take over he has been a bargain

Great signing.One bit of play for England and fans of other teams made their mind up about him.
When he is not playing for us we miss his drive forward.So much of his game is vastly underrated,he is so much more than a defensive midfield.
He must be a managers dream to work with.Brilliant pro who has never let anybody down.

It says a lot when we have supposedly gone through a 'bad patch' and we come out of it unbeaten in 6 games having gone to three of the toughest away grounds in the country and played Arsenal at home.

If you look at last season, we drew at Craven Cottage, the Brittania and Anfield so I'd say we're on target.

Now we have:

Sunderland (H)
West Brom (A)
Swansea (H)
West Ham (A)
Spurs (H)

If you swap West Ham for who they replaced last year, Wolves, then we took 11 points from those games last season.

I think we should aim to preserve our unbeaten run and take 11 or 13 from those games, then things will look a lot better.

Three of those clubs scare the sheet out of me. (WB playing well, Swans always dangerous, even Spuds worry me with Defoe looking hungry, though we should take them at home surely?)

But perhaps I'm just cautious by nature.

Very good performance, we were better than a 2-1 win. The ref did his best to fuck us over as per but our quality came through.

Only just had time to comment. Went yesterday and overall it was top day out, the fans were in good voice especially the yaya song. Thought the boys played really well, great to see silva back on form. He should play the free role every game. As for Mancini, credit where credits due he went all out for the win with the subs lats on. Thanks to Edin for making a great day out even more special.
