Don't do yourself down like that. I like Bertrand think he's a very good player, and yes someone we should look at. I know we scouted Danny Rose very heavily last season too. Not sure I rate him that highly, but he was certainly one we looked at.

Maffeo 'might' become one of the four, but as we haven't even seen ten minutes of him in a league cup game, we have absolutely no idea, just like the manager.

Two left backs are a must for me Gibbs at Arsenal is okay . As is that Everton kid who fills in for bainesIs there any club in the premier with an older average age of full back than City. We need to add some younger legs.
Whilst I think Sagna is currently better than Zab, my prediction is that we sign one left back and one right back in the summer. Clichy will stay for one more year because he's home grown. Kolarov out. And my gut feeling is that we'll keep Zab for another year as back up because he 'gets' City if you know what I mean? I predict Sagna to leave in the summer.I agree mate. I also just think time's up for Zab, Kola, Clichy. Sagna's the only one i'd think about keeping. Certainly though if it was up to me i'd be buying 4 new full backs next summer and one John Stones. :)
we have a few players approaching the 30 year old mark and some a bit older , why highlight the full backs ? We have some great potential coming through , maffeo,angelino , denayer all look good prospects , if we go and sign a couple of established full backs in there early to mid twenties , when will our kids get a chance to progress ? Sure we can get a couple of more seasons out of Zabs , Clichy , Sagna and Kolarov if we rotate them , and gradually bring in our youth players.
