Good enough to do what, though? It comes down to either someone coming in to replace Walker or putting him under pressure. If we cannot find someone immediately, then we may have to improvise. Danilo only managed 1,479 minutes this year and 2,476 the year before. Kyle Walker managed 4,301 this year and 3,842 the year before. I think we may trust Walker to repeat what he did in the last two years, especially as he has a summer off, and use Stones/Fernandinho to cover right back minutes. That is a risky strategy, but one that might work- cue a broken leg in the opening league game. :-(
In terms of an outright successor, however, Max Aarons at Norwich City might be worth monitoring next season.
