Rose and Walker- I don't even care about their playing ability. If it was up to me we would refrain from buying anyone who's spent too long under Pochettino's 'Be a **** until you get booked' philosophy. They're arseholes.

After Clichy performance last night, a left back is a big priority asap now surely
Clichy's performance was so bad I thought Wayne Bridge had returned. We desperately need an upgrade in the fullback area.

I'd buy Trippier back. Playing very well for Spurs and would fit our system. Not saying he'd be number 1, but he'd be good to rotate.

I can only deduce that he's not starting because he isn't showing enough in training.

Clichy is terrible for just playing aimless passes when he's spent too much time on the ball and when he's under pressure. I imagine Pep gets very frustrated with him.

He's had five years of a run and still hasn't cleared a back post header.

You're right we need to try and think British as we're going to have very few home grown players with Delph not looking up to it and Clichy looking finished. Spurs went British with punts on Walker and Rose and they've developed into decent full backs. We need to do the same but can see only Grimaldo in January. Maffeo may come good but Angelino does not look good enough.
I think our days of worrying about the English quota are over.
