Well you know now , they dont contact you as such but if you go in with something else they will offer it and you can phone up and ask for one , i have my bloods done and a health check, bp, weight , waist measured etc every year or soWhen you say everyone, what about those not offered it ?
I've never been offered it, Mrs Mist hasn't (different surgery) and neither have my mates.
I'd go further and say none of us know about it.

I’ve never been offered one. All I get is the regular bowel cancer screening box.Everyone is offered an mot every year , it is the nhs being proactive and catch illnesses early

You'll be invited for a free NHS Health Check every 5 years if you're between 40 and 74 years of age and do not already have a pre-existing condition.
If you're registered with a GP surgery that offers the NHS Health Check, you should automatically get an invitation.
Worth noting the caveat in the second sentence.
