The rumours are that Mcatee is likely to return this summer- apparently he had a sit down with pep and txixi not long ago- he was asked about it after a sheff united game and didn’t deny it. Why go and sign a prospect like viega who is a similar age and player profile when we have a kid whose performing well, been through the academy and could be just as good.

Veiga is more established than McAtee, which is why we are going for a McAtee return. He will be happy with his limited game time here. I am sure he will take his chances, though.

It could just be a case of 2+2 = 3.

Real were interested in Veiga & Bellingham. If it's true that Bellingham's Madrid bound, AS have probably reasoned they don't want both JB & Veiga, so the obvious next stop for Veiga is the PL.

It's all speculation because 3 weeks ago Real had apparently cooled their interest in Bellingham, last week Veiga was nailed on to Real, now this week it's Bellingham to Real, so Veiga goes to the PL. \0/

It's all transfer speculation with everyone desperately connecting dots to see what pictures are being painted, as we approach the summer window.

However, according to The Athletic, Manchester City could now enter the race to sign Veiga after missing out on Jude Bellingham.
