Can you name any 20 year old striker who has forced his way out of a club because of a lack of game time?

And of those, how many did that after 6 months?

And of those, how many were at clubs challenging for titles, playing in the CL and under a world class manager?

How many world class talents good enough to be a key player in 99% of top 5 league teams do you have? There is no way he will accept being a third choice striker, should it come to that.

It's not often I get carried away by what I see of a player before he gets to us, but this guy looks the absolute dogs danglies.

I reckon he'll hit the ground running and scare the fuck out of the Prem from the minute he puts a blue shirt on.

Can't fucking wait.

Hi mates,

By now you have probably noticed what we, Palmeiras fans, had known for a couple of years already, Gabriel Jesus is one of THOSE players... No one get the 9 tshirt of Brazil from out of nowhere, and since he joined the national team, brazil did not loose anymore and he has scored 4 times, this last one with a top finish you dont see much around...

Also he is talking a lot with Fernandinho, about the city of Manchester, the club, guardiola, team mates... I found an article in english about this...

I can say I am very excited for this last 9 Palmeiras games... We are three points ahead of flamengo and all games are decisions from now on. First one this thursday against cruzeiro (Gabriel will start playing).

Cheers!

I came in here to post pretty much exactly this. Extremely excited to see him pill on a City shirt.

I do hope he his given time to settle in and, is not expected to set world on fire from day one ( hate the "hit the ground running expression ") he is a very young man who will be living in a new country with totally different culture. We have to remember these kids are not robots but humans with feelings that can be affected by environment change.
So let's all be patient with the kid.
If he gets time anywhere it would be at city with Pep at the helm.

Gabriel Jesus' mother after his goal for Brazil: "First a kiss for the goal, yes, but then I pull his ear for missing the second."

Haha,i like her
