Ronaldo league stats at the end of 1998-99 (aged 22): Apps: 148, Goals: 127.
Ronaldo league stats at the end of 2011 (aged 35, Retirement): Apps: 343, Goals: 247.
Record between 22-35: Apps: 195, Goals: 120 (Per Season): Apps: 15, Goals: 9.

I'd rather Jesus do it the other way around. Hence why I find the comparisons of records at 18,19,20 unhelpful.

Absolutely too much too soon. The Law of Diminishing Returns in those numbers is horrendous. Pep will look after Jesus, I think.

Currently or ever?

Currently, true #9s, it would be hard to place any from anywhere as good. You're not Brazil's main #9 at 20 for no reason.

Has there ever been a better #9 than Ronaldo though? He was a year younger than Jesus in that year at Barca was was like nothing anyone had ever seen before and nobody has since. 49 goals in 47 games at 19 in one of the top European leagues, Christ that's just amazing!
I meant currently, I think the real Ronaldo is a very hard act to follow. Amazing player at such a young age.

I think you are right. Jesus is amazing but Ronaldo was different level one of the greatest strikers ever.
