Scratching my head wondering where we are going to play Sane, Sterling, Jesus, Aguero, Iheanacho, De Bruyne, Silva and Nolito. Happy with us signing young players and what not but hope it isn't at the expense of Iheanacho, because he has done more than enough to justify his case to play a strong number of games this season.
Similar reservations to Stones coming in when we already have Denayer and probably even Tosin as options.
That said, always something exciting about signing young Brazilian forwards so I am looking forward to seeing him play.
If we look at the ages of players and factor in selling some players things look about perfect.
We should get two good seasons from Silva and Nolito. 3-4 out of Aguero.
De Bruyne enjoying 5/6 years.
Behind them, Sane, Moreno, Jesus, Iheanacho.
That gives us time to bed in some fantastic talent whilst also allowing us to move out established talent when we see fit.
Aguero will be 31 in 3 years, Iheancho just 22. That is near perfect timing.
Likewise with Silva, Nolito being replaced by Moreno and Roberts.
I believe Jesus to more central so he will compete with Iheanacho.
Sterling and Sane to compete for the next 10 years.
De Bruyne as the lynch pin of the evolution.
3 in their late 20's.
De Bruyne in his peak.
3 on loan in their teens
3 in their very early 20's(late teens) backing up/interchanging with the senior forwards.
Without further signings, we have a forward line and up and coming stars sorted for 5-6 years. By the time the likes of of Sane hit their mid 20's Diaz et al will be hitting their stride in their early 20's.
