This Clichy was the next big thing a few seasons ago and I still believe he will turn out good :)

Agreed, I've pretty much written off his last two seasons for Le Arse. It's impossible to look good if you've got shite next to you constantly.

I agree. You can't under estimate the effect of the keeper as well.

Their keepers are shockingly bad, the problems all start their IMO. I dont understand why they have not signed a decent keeper it been obvious for years they need one.

He obviously isn't Arsenal's weak link in defence, but he gets caught out of position so much it is unreal. Yes his pace helps him out at times, but we have seen how Mancini has developed Richards game, a player who was so out of position at times, but who has become, in my opinion, Englands best RB. If Roberto can do the same with Clichy, then this will be one of the bargains of the summer.
