Bloody amazing performance once again. He was by far the greatest value signing we made over the summer. There were times when we needed extra spark on attack and some to get stuck in on defence. What a great player.

The best part of his performance was where he made a rare mistake and was caught out of position but shot back with incredible pace and killed off a dangerous attack by the Barcodes. Quality player, some Arsenal fans are perplexed by how good he is for us... it's simply putting a talented player into a proper defensive setup.

This. Arsenal think they can attack with the fullbacks without a holding player dropping into the slot. How many times do they strand Vermaelan on his own.

Fantastic signing, personally it wasn't expected (despite hearing rumours of it beforehand) but he has been immense this season & certainly not "past it" as some of the so-called experts said...

Wouldn't swap him for anyone, looks like the best left back in the world now he's playing in a organised defence.
