Its either them or inter.
100% it will be real or inter again, how can we possibly play someone again we just played in the 'league' campaign

Or Bodo.100% it will be real or inter again, how can we possibly play someone again we just played in the 'league' campaign
Or Bodo.
Is this a trick question?
WE have to think about it differently... The group stage is simply to determine rankings. Once that is done, the real stage begins...100% it will be real or inter again, how can we possibly play someone again we just played in the 'league' campaign
He's like two different players, depending upon in which part of the pitch he happens to be standing.Ait-Nouri's best game for City. I would be wary of him as a defender though. I have him down as good going forward and not so good defending but early days.
Not at Khusanov's expense, thoughJust Guehi, Dias, Rodri and Semenyo to add to the team then! Gonzalez back as well and maybe even Stones helps out towards the end of the season
Finishing top 8 means that your side has 2 games less to play - an obvious advantage.
I agree. Rules changed for next season so this can't happen anymore. See you in Madrid :-)100% it will be real or inter again, how can we possibly play someone again we just played in the 'league' campaign
The amount of times 2nd half last night where i thought if that’s KDB on the ball Haaland is clean through and they didn’t even end up as chances. Cherki and Foden basically had easier passes on for Haaland than the Doku one for the goal. They didn’t even look for him and nothing came of great positionsI thought we played well. Another day it would have been 6-0. How or what pep has to do to get the players scoring baffles me, it's a delicate line between scoring freely and not being able to put those shots away.
It's really critical sometime.. Against utd, or a lot of the games we've lost, those early chances we miss really change the shape of the game.
At the moment it feels like we have to be 3 up before we relax and play our game whereas in the past just 1-0 up would suffice.
Anyway, the players last night put in a lot of work, bernardo is my motm, he is a linchpin for us I feel.
Agree with your assessment of the second half.
There are 12-year-olds playing in parks who understand who's in the best position to be given the ball.
Everybody in the team last night grew up playing football, knowing this same thing.
So at what point between being a kid in the park and becoming a pro did some of our players forget this, then? And why just our players?
Experience? Honestly!
Still - straight through, that's all that counts, for now. Improvement definitely required, though.
I think the way it is organised is that the league phase just gets the ducks in a row for the knockout stage.I presumed people would of known Bodo be in the question, but still not sure how we can be possibly playing them AGAIN so soon?
Would be QF/SF in previous comps before potentially playing someone from the group we were in!
No it doesn't. You get more for qualifying in the top 8 than you do for playing the 2 qualifiers for finishing 9-24The 2 extra games give you a 2nd chance, but the draw for the knockouts is a joke
The play-off advantage gives the likes of Real Madrid PSG and the other so-called big teams a 2nd chance and that can put the cats among the pigeons, Does playing 2 extra games really hurt your chances
Arsenal top the table, but what does it get you that City and the other 7 teams get ?
Finishing 24th and win the Champions League earns you more money
Unfortunately I think it will be.Not at Khusanov's expense, though
Yes. It absolutely does.Does playing 2 extra games really hurt your chances
Or Bobo, Oh sorry utd aren't in it are they.Or Bodo.
