I'm sure the marketing speak will insist the black is something or other to do with St Mark's, when we used to play in a black kit.
But as Dave said, it is really a commercial motive

whoever claimed that the away kit won't be worn much cos of clashes with villa and west ham:

Everton
Fulham
QPR
Reading
Swansea
Spurs
West Brom
Wigan

Likely to wear it 9 times out of 19, 8 times will wear sky blue, leaving just West Ham and Villa for an alternative kit. though in truth no need, as when we played west ham 2 years ago we wore the home kit.

That's just in the league as well, there's a possibility we could end up wearing it in the FA cup, Capital One cup and the champions league! Oh and not forgetting the charity shield as well (depending who gets drawn as the home team)

never bought a training kit before but this one looks alright!

Nope.

Also the reason they have given three names only is because no numbers have been confirmed yet. I work there and that's the reason we was given.
