So the "world's biggest blue" shtick he peddles is as phoney and opportunistic as his adoption of a Union Flag guitar when Britpop was the in thing. Not many City tops or Union Flags — or indeed The Beatles — about when he was singing Irish rebel songs with his friends at house parties, clad in his ever-present Green and White hoops.
His brother Paul aka 'Bod' was the committed City fan, not Noel. Liam was only a nipper back then so don't know about him

Never heard him claim to be the "world's biggest blue". He was certainly a blue before they were famous. I was with him at Glastonbury 94 and it's all we talked about.

I certainly wasn't aware there was a minimum number of games needed to attend to be accepted as a shirt model.
No, but you have repeatedly said on here in the past that there is an age limit on which someone should wear a replica shirt.
So do you dismiss your Glasto buddy with your oft-stated sneers about any man in his 40s seen wearing a replica top?
Or does slippery Noel, the moving target, manage to dodge that one as well?

Now that's moving the goalposts in a rather spectacular manner. PMSL!

To use Damocles's phrase, that's the ultimate "Straw Man". Fair play for a bigger deflection than Micah's at Newcastle.

For the record, I think Noel looks a bit of a dick in those shots. But that really isn't the discussion at hand and I think you probably know that.

Just a badly instagrammed picture, his body's been distorted, Kompany's incredibly lean and ripped.

i hated last years, the v neck and the little blue things sticking up near the neck line etc,i bought one only a few weeks ago for £25 only cos iv bought one every years for years and thought it would be typical not to buy one in the year we finally win the league.

next seasons looks like a rugby shirt with its collar and shite looking badge, whats that all about?

here is my deal, wont be buying it unless we win the champs league !

So you dont like them then lol.

I like em, ill prob get the away one.

Saw this on the OS...

Plus, be the first to order the striking new shirts and you will get an exclusive free home scarf with home orders* and away scarf with away orders*.

Stadium full of maroon scarves next season then? I could see the away kit outselling the home kit this season, at least among match-goers.

I don't think City were relseasing images until tomorrow, but as the sun newspaper got there with the home on today I suppose they thought they better get both shirts out.

It's not as if nobody had seen either of them weeks ago anyway!

Haha, I'm deflecting nothing. I asked you a reasonable question based on your previous statements and indirect sneers aimed at other blues who buy replica shirts.
I stand by my opinion that Gallagher is a fraud and an opportunist, based on my own personal experiences and the evidence of my own eyes and ears, going back to the 80s.
To paraphrase a great man, I don't buy into the "Groupthink" about Noel Gallagher.
I won't bother with this anymore as this is a thread about the kits, not about Oasis. Our butting heads on the issue will be boring for everyone else.
