The 1080p bluray rips are full hd high quality rips of the original bluray in a smaller filesize.
If bluray has leaked then very soon the dvd's should appear.

Higher the bitrate the better the pic quality, but also larger filesize.
Anymore than 3000Kbps is massive overkill imo.
