Loved it when it first came out but I get the feeling they have thinned it out to get more series out of it.

Haha no mate they have condensed it.

Agreed, they could do 12 eps per season easily. Some eps i have to watch again to soak it all in.

The red wedding did not compute, had to watch that like 7 times before it sank in xD

I want the hound to survive and kick some doors down and have to eat every fucking chicken in the room :-D

I think this is just how the books are written. Some of the more hardcore fans are pretty convinced that George R.R. Martin just has no idea how to tie up all of the different threads into one satisfying conclusion.

I've been thinking that I might give the next season a miss. Watching them one season at a time feels very slow, and my favourite experience was watching season 1-3 in order so might let it skip ahead again.

I watched the first 2 series back to back and I did enjoy them more that way.
If I can just hold off and watch the next series in its entirety then you are probably right I might enjoy it more.

It is how it is written, it is such a big big world and story to tell, so many characters have been left out of the tv show and so many sorylines shortened, it really could have been more episodes per series, the plus side is they saved us from having to watch a full series dedicated to A feast for crows, now that would have been hard work.

I think i have played a blinder here not reading the books first.
Almost every time i read a book before seeing the film the movie is a total failure.

I prefer the books and it makes the tv series less confusing, that first series must have been hard for people trying to remember all the characters, which houses they represent, where are they in relation to the other houses and on the map, past histories and past wars, bad blood etc, they have brought a book out now that helps called the History of Westeros written by the guys who run http://www.westeros.org/

Fair point that, i did feel chucked in the middle a bit.

Most of the time I would agree with that but with ASOI&F>>>GoT I think they have achieved something pretty unique in creating something that they have enhanced through the medium of television from what is already a superb product in book form. I suspect that's a reflection of the way GRRM has worked collaboratively with the GoT producers David Benioff and D. B. Weiss.

Been binge watching the complete reruns on HBO latin América.

Some spoilers already for the book readers, but we knew already who the eunuch was conspiring for.

But I expect more spoilers in season 5 as long as the lazy GRRM will not write a fucking page the more.

April 12th it is, is there a City fixture that day?

How did you know who Varys was conspiring for? i'm a huge fan of the books and no mention.

Well, he's the apparatchik brain that kept it rolling after the mad king was ousted.

On another note, Gray Worm reminds me of our lame midfield. He looks like the third brother of Fernandinho and Fernando.

Yeah but just guess work, it doesn't actually state it in the book, haha yeah he really does look like Fernandinho, our midfield are unsullied.
