Game of Thrones (season 8)

Do we think the battle will start next week and go on for two or more episodes? I'm thinking of watching the rest of the season all at once, when it's done.

This helps to better explain why some of us feel the writing quality has taken a [Salah] dive and things have become particularly ham fisted — I had these same thoughts throughout the recent episode.

My mates and I have even given an alternative, Shyamalanian name for the episode: ‘The Bludgeoning’ (or “ok, ok, ok... we’ve bloody got it!”).

Given he's going to cark it before getting remotely close to finishing, this is as good as anyone is going to get in terms of a conclusion.
Unfortunate, but likely true.

"What does that even mean? I literally have no idea what that means!"

Means he like ogre porn ;-)

Also that the generalisation of epic fantasy novels, that they all contain the same elements, even though this is obviously false

The Spiral was the symbol of the Children of the Forrest - way before the Tygereons arrived in Westeros. I await to see if the Winterfell Wierwood tree was the one where the Night King was created. Also is he actually a Stark?

He could be both Tygereon AND Stark like Jon, only Tygereons can ride dragons and he has shown he can step through or control fire in some manner. Bran was asked if Dragonfire can kill him and he answered nobody knows.

I think the theory on the net last night will happen, we will see the big battle and they will win but then it will end with the night king attacking Kings Landing.

Jaime and Tyrion will then have to convince the rest to save Cersei and Jaime's child and at the same time work out what to do about the night king.

To be honest no-one has thought of this one but what if the only way to kill the night king is to bring him back to life....?
