Game of Thrones

Would have been stupid if she killed her only family/lover left. Don't understand why she doesn't just surrender and leave to Casterly Rock with Jaime to live happily eve after.
It's more fucking stupid that she didn't just capture him and stop him leaving, given that he's just going to go tell the others about her secret plan that she'd just spent the entire time trying to trick them with. Apparently there is no middle ground between having him killed and letting him wander off to ruin your plans though

Surely they could just ask Bran anything now and they would know straight away who's plotting what anyway.

A bit off field but,

Maybe it would matter with Jamie about loyalty to his sister once Jon is revealed fully as rightful heir.
He was a gold cloak and loyal to the Targeryans until the mad king started burning everything.
There is no reason now Cearsi has become equally bonkers and basically told him he's redundant in her eyes he wouldn't pledge his allegiance to the rightful heir out of honour.

As for why she wouldn't let the mountain kill tyrion, she probably sees him more equally than Jamie politically and inteligence wise, and she needs to feed off that.

On Tormund and Beric having rewatched it I think they survived, because if you watch they are on the inland rampart with the dragon fire behind them and it is the side of the wall on the coastal side that colaspes which it the opposite side of the dragons fire.
You can just see a little area or eastwich on the side they were intact.

I thought Cersei should have killed Bronn and then that as well as her going against her word would have been enough to turn Jaime fully against her.

"2014 report in the Telegraph claiming that Lena Headey, who plays Cersei, used to go out with Jerome!

“Jerome (Bronn) and Lena (Cersei) aren’t on speaking terms any more and they are never in the same room at the same time,” a GoT crew member told the newspaper.

“It’s a pity because they appeared to have patched things up for a while, but now the word is they should be kept apart at all costs.”

Neither have said an awful lot about their time together, although in 2003 Jerome admitted that they had been a thing."

Haven't read a jot and avoid leaks/spoilers lile the plague, but here's my thoughts on what might develop in the final series;
At some point Arya goes off to kill Cersei. She kills Jamie as she thinks he's the only one she trusts, thus allowimg her to get close to her. But she doesn't realise that Jamie has been exiled, so when he/she shows up again back at Kings Landing, Cersei captures him and orders Sir Gregor to kill him this time.
As the execution is about to happen in a quiet place away from anyone else, Arya surprises the mountain and kills him as he's not expecting Jamie to be able to fight well with only one non-sword hand. She then takes on the guise of the mountain, finally gets close to Cersei and, SPLOODGE! again.

Nah it's wishful thinking on my part, I've no idea how things are going to turn out, like everyone else

I have read the script for the next series .............................

Daenerys Targarven has Jon Snows baby - Tyrion Lannister knew all along about the real mother of Jon Snow but awaits the baby ceremony to spill the news, he is drunk and the party falls silent, Daenerys doesnt believe this at first but Tyrion takes her to meet Bran who tells all. Meanwhile the white walkers are on the march, the Wildlings hold them back for a while, Queen Cersei has Jamie's daughter, they name her Sophie but keep her secret. Bran has a vision into the future and Sophie becomes Queen of Essos. Milisandre makes a comeback and creates fire spell which destroys the white walkers all except the Night King and the dragon - Daenerys two dragons eventually defeat them. After the white walkers are defeated, Daenerys turns her attention to taking the crown off Cersei - Varys tells Daenerys that the Queen Cersei has had a baby daughter by her brothers - the news spreads, Sandor the hound goes to confront Cersie but is killed by Gregor in a epic fight. Daenerys, the dragons and the Unsullied go to Westeros to take the Iron Throne, Cersei sees there arrival and jumps from the same window Bran fell, killing herself, Jamie cry's when he sees her and ends his life with poison - the crowd cheer Queen Daenerys as she strolls to the Great Hall of the Red Keep ...but as she enters the hall, the final twist which brings gasps through the whole of Westeros....Samwell Tarley is sat on the throne naked eating a kfc mega bucket ''i've been waiting for you'' he says with a creepy grin.the end.

Here's my theory. The Night King is the Mad King. Like Darth Vader. We already have a Luke and Leia

Good episode. I'm super curious how things are gonna pan out once Jon and Danny find out Jon's real father. Besides the obvious "oh I just fucked my aunt" there is the fact he is heir to the throne. I don't think she will take that well at all considering she has spent most of her life getting to where she is now. I don't think Jon would want the throne but I could see her turning on him the moment she finds out. And then there is the question of how the north will react. He still has Stark blood but will they follow a Targaryen? And we have to wait 2 years to find out.
She'll have to bend the knee to him and, knowing GOT, it could be "while you're down there love...."
