We don't need to spend anything else after Mangala. As Soriano said, our squad will be complete for now and we don't buy for the sake of it. Next summer there will probably be a need to change things again. A smaller net spend than most of us expected should also help the club achieve profitability to remove sanctions in future, then we can really upgrade our squad by perhaps investing in a world class marquee player next summer for the first time in a few years.

Barkley's attitude is also 10x better than the mentally undisciplined Wilshere. Barkley lives for the game (Martinez called his lifestyle 'pristine' and he lives at home with his mum), Wilshere lives for the lifestyle it seems.

This is all assuming he proves he's the real deal and has a great season anyway. I'm not convinced he is worth the mooted figures until he shows it over a full season.

I will be happy to see this go through asap. With Fernando around, this really pushes Garcia back in the ranks, and as has been said before, the fee we would hopefully get, would be good business for us at this current time.

If he does go it wouldn't surprise me being a last minute job. We might well need him at centre half for a game or two and whoever is buying will hold out for the best deal knowing we need rid of a non homegrown player who is surplus to requirements. £12-15m is at least double what I think we will get. We can't bring any more foreign players in unless we sell more foreign players though and I don't see any homegrown players improving us.

I think we will try and get our net spend as low as possible giving us a decent kitty to work with next summer.

You never know if a projected net spend this summer was part of breaking even this season.

I think our squad is ready to go once Mangala comes in.

If we can get 20 for Rodwell and Garcia I expect Pellers would jump at the opportunity to sell Nastastic if it meant he gets the player he really wants...Isco.
