Rodwell will get plenty of game time if he stays injury free.Firasdo said:How many minutes will Garcia and Rodwell get this season ?
We paid 26 mil on their transfer fees + around 7 mil a year for their combined salary.
Well, for such a woeful passer, he has completed 94% of his passes. Now for comparison. That is better thanMatt.D said:NQCitizen said:Seriously can someone please just tell me what he's actually done wrong?
I've asked that question about 5 times, you'd think if he was so incredibly shit there might be a couple of times people could pick out.
He plays majority of his games in central midfield , just because you can't think of any direct errors that have led to goals don't change the fact he is abysmal. Cardiff could have easily scored 3 more from open play due to his lack of pace albeit in a position that is not his 'speciality'. We almost play with 10 men when he's on the field because in every single game he's played people have walked past him like he isn't there and he spends the entire game chasing shadows when we don't have the ball. His passing (even short passes) is woeful, always bobbling and behind the man. He doesn't bring any qualities to the side other than being a threat from set pieces.

Clichy, Yaya, Lescott, Aguero, Milner, Silva, Dihno, Navas, Kolarov, Nasri, Negredo, Nastasic, Dzeko, and Zabaleta. In short, he has been the 2nd best passer on the team. 2nd only to Kompany. So short passing or not, clearly passing is NOT one of his weaknesses. Bobbling, sure. But complete. He is a danger from set pieces. Gave up a few chances against Cardiff, quite unlike Lescott giving up one against Hull.
I am not saying he is a great player, but he simply is not shite. He is not far off from most of our none stars. And he simply is not the worst player on the squad.

This is one of the most balanced posts about Garcia. Actually a fair bit of rational discussion in this thread shame the really vociferous critics that just trot endless clichés won't see it.
