Been getting loads of visitors recently, nuthatches, red crossbills, Siskins, woodpeckers, evening grosbeaks, Cassius, house and Ruby finches, swallows, no sign of hummingbirds yet
Is that Heaton Park? ;)
YesWhere are all the swallows, swifts and martins?
They normally turn up no later than 8th May in my neck of the woods (yerkershire) but as yet not seen any.
I understand that the jetstream is still south of Britain which accounts for the appalling weather. I think these birds follow the northern movement of the jetstream, moving with the warmer air.
Anyone seen these annual visitors yet?
Shoot it?Just watched a raccoon climb out of next doors recycling bin.
