Garden Birds and wild birds thread.

Been getting loads of visitors recently, nuthatches, red crossbills, Siskins, woodpeckers, evening grosbeaks, Cassius, house and Ruby finches, swallows, no sign of hummingbirds yet

Where are all the swallows, swifts and martins?
They normally turn up no later than 8th May in my neck of the woods (yerkershire) but as yet not seen any.
I understand that the jetstream is still south of Britain which accounts for the appalling weather. I think these birds follow the northern movement of the jetstream, moving with the warmer air.
Anyone seen these annual visitors yet?

Yes
 
Not seen zabba for a couple of nights , hope he is ok , never in twenty yrs here has there been serious fighting amongst the badgers , makes me very sad

On the other hand the foxes are thriving
