Gareth Bale 45m

Trying to sign Bale for big money any time soon would be ridiculous, knee-jerk, more-money-than-sense football management. He's had a good half season. He's flavour of the month. He's the Stephen Ireland of 2010/11. At the moment, that's all he is. Let's see what he does next season.

fantastic last year, fantastic this year.

ive got a feeling mancini wants bale and is trying to tempt him by revealing he likes him as a player wouldnt be suprised if he signed and plays in kolarovs position and kolarov wud be second choice now bridge has gone on loan.

This, and every year previous. Always thought he was special.

He's not good enough defensivly to do this, plus your limit his best attributes which is obviously what we'd be after him for. He doesn't really fit with the current formation as mancini likes his wingers to cut in but if we were to sign him i'm sure he could be accomodated. He'll have to move if he wants to continue playing in the champions league though.

Guess nobody saw the original interview?

His words were taken completely out of context and if anything, Mancini distanced us from Bale.

I think he'd fit into our squad perfectly.

Can score from the left, can deliver endless crosses, can give us the pace going forward we at times so badly miss.

He can also help out of the defensive, since he came through that route and could give a good deal more balance than say a Balotelli if the game required it.

Don't think he's worth a penny over £25mil given it's City and his form. He does tend to have one fantastic game in 15 though...
