Bale is world class, people will say he isnt, most who wont allow themselves to believe it due to him being welsh or being called gareth instead of 'garethinho'. I wouldnt want to spend 40mil on the guy but he is a top quality left winger with great abillity and great pace and just what we need.

Bale is exactly what we need, the amount of times last year we break and have no one with pace to fire the ball too. Davids passing ability combined with bales pace and crossing ability would make our left hand side unbelievable.

Unless we are looking at different options this is the signing I would have thought would have happened first but suspect delayed because of arrys departure and I also suspect we won't know anything until after arrys sucessor has been appointed and the new manager has had his say.
