Do you not rate Richards?

It is not that I don't rate him. It is more that he wouldn't get in my starting 11 and if a trade was on offer I would swap a none starter for a guaranteed starter. Richards is a decent player to offer in any deal for player plus cash.

Got to admit Richards always looks ridiculously over priced in the press. If you can get someone to pay 25-30m because he's English I would. Azpilicueta cost Chelsea 7 but a player of his standard would be adequate back up to Zab.

They need a striker, a left back and a winger as far as I'm aware.

We could offer Dzeko who could be a top striker if played regularly. And maybe we could offer Milner as a winger for 15m. We don't have a spare LB.

So maybe Dzeko, Milner and 35m? Works out to be roughly 70m.

We'd need a new striker then obviously. I'd be happy with just 3 strikers... Aguero, Guidetti and Fred\Negrado\Villa.

Pipe dream though. And what harm... there are other options out there that combined could be better than Bale for less.

Yaya - absolutely; ageing, replaceable and arguably waning.

Silva - no. Aguero - not a chance in hell, as vital as anyone to the success of the club.
