Gareth Bale

I just get the impression Bale is a bit of a home bird, that and the fact he has recently become a father suggests to me he would be happier on home shores.

We 'need' him more,if available,we really should pull out every stop.

I'd be devastated and fearful if he ends up at Trafford,he is top quality and perfect 'brand' material.

I can definitely see it happening,he ticks all their boxes with aplomb.

Other than the big box of not costing more than 25m. There's only one player they would break the bank for and that's Ronaldo.

After FCB signed Götze I became sure that Bale would end up in Madrid. Can't really see him staying in England.

I can see the vision in my head clear as day - Bale in a Los Blancos shirt. Chin up, cocky smirk. That's what you gotta have when you wear the white. You gotta be able to look down on others. Except if you're Iker of course. Seriously, I'm not kidding I know a few el Real supporters and that's what they say they wanna see. It's like the spirit of the club, in pure white - Thinking you're better than others. I think Bale can manage that, with a bit of practice atleast. I despise that, but at the same time secretly it's kind of appealing.

Though they lost one of the greatest torchbearers for that spirit a few years back. I'm of course talking about Guti, damn what a personality he was.

Surely he would be interested in joining us? With the future ahead of us, the best owner and chairman in the world, big pay rise, world class players and more to follow and of course the best fans in the world!!! :-) imagine a summer window of cavani, bale, fernandinho and maybe isco or reus??? Wow!!

utd wont stump up 50 60 million for him itl be more like 25 30 million plus a player or two.we should be looking at doing the same offer some of our dead wood in exchange for him.if he ends up at the rags it will spell bad news imo.bale should be our number 1 target

Spurs have to want the 'dead wood', they aren't a tinpot team and have ambitions of their own so aren't going to accept someone like Garcia. They MIGHT consider Nasri or Dzeko though.

I'm sure City would love to have Bale but we have several areas of the squad to improve so we can't spend so much of our transfer budget on one player that the other areas get neglected.

I believe Utd will get rid of Nani, Anderson and possibly Rooney/Hernandez. Incoming will be Lewandowski, and probably two of De Maria/Ronaldo and Bale.

There will be greater Sky prize money to play for next season and with shirt sales, CL success etc it is an economic decision that will reap rewards to invest in the best players.

nani anderson both portuguise see the connection?bacon will be telling them spurs is the right club for you lads under avb while laughing his cock off at getting rid of 2 average players of his wage bill while stumping up 25 million for bale.city must not let him go there.we seen what happened with van rapist, this could be worse

I've just got a feeling we'l end up with one of either bale or ronaldo, if bale goes to the rags it looks like ronaldo will definatley not be going back there, in that case I reckon us or psg would then get ronaldo. But I'd defo rather have bale the lads only going to get better if his steady progress is anything to by and he's probably got ten more years at the top

Hahahahah I dont even know what to say :D

If only we'd not wasted money on Garcia, Maicon and perhaps Rodwell last summer, we could even have flogged Balotelli last summer to add to the kitty.

If we had bought Bale last year then maybe we would have won the league again ??

What was his price last year 40 -45 million ?

If we can bring in Cavani/Bale/Fernandinho and add some younger talents to this then next season should be looking good.

If Tevez and Dzeko go then we need another striker as well as Cavani. -Jackson Martinez or Lewandowski
If Nasri and Sinclair were to be sold then we need a replacement such as Reus or James Rodriguez.
If Garcia leaves we could do with a Kondogbia or similar.
If Kolo and Lescott go then we need a couple of centre backs.
And if we can move out Kolarov then we need an understudy for Clichy.

Busy times for Txiki and his scouting team, I wonder how many we can replace in one window without upsetting the squad too much.

So you think we will be able to buy Cavani, Bale, Fernandinho, Martinez/Lewandowski, Reus/Rodriguez, 2 centre backs and a left back.

that's 8 players, and at least 170m

Speaking to a guy that worked for umbro up until 3 months ago used to supply kits etc to players reckons bale to us in the summer is happening. He still speaks to player's and staff at city. Only passing on what he told me.

How do you know we didn't bid for Bale? but he turned us down?

Likes living in London, is happy on his wages and playing for Tottenham. Not a fan of Mancini nor does he want to come and play under him. Thinks X, Y and Z won't suit him and would prefer to develop further under AVB.

Oh....you don't know.

I can't understand why people think it is as easy as bidding 40m for X and he joins the next day. Player's do have personal feelings and emotions you know. As well as players like Bale and Hazard and so on having their pick of clubs to go to, Manchester City are not in their top three probably .
