You know better than me, Maldeika but I wasn't sure whether Pep would want to 'make his mark' on the team by getting rid of a Ribery or a Robben to bring in younger players like Bale. That's if he plans to stay at Bayern for a relatively long time (4-6 years).Maldeika said:Joehannes said:Posted in another thread that I could very much see him at Bayern next year given all the reports of Pep fancying him when at Barca. Simply can't see any English club paying the fee that Levy would demand.
He is a right winger, or?
Would not make any sense. You do not pay that big sums for a bench player...
Bale is 23, has played 21 matches with 1841 minutes this season in the EPL and scored 11 goals and made 4 assists... - a scorer point every 122 minutes
He would compete with Müller, who is 2 months younger, has bags of international experience more than him, is the asset of the club and homegrown, has 19 matches with 1517 minutes this season in which he scored 11 goals and 10 assists... - a scorer point every 72 minutes... (11 of them have been for 1:0s or equalizers...)
And there is an Arjen Robben on the bench right now with a contract that lasts to 2015...
I know that there is so much speculations right now. But that is one that does not make any sense.
Is Muller consistently playing on the right at Bayern too?
