Barrys consistancy over a season has always been a issue even when he was with Villa. So it was the same last season here. So I would reckon it will be more of the same again this year to be honest. I will give credit to him for starting off well but its like we have seen this all before from Barry over the years and on that reason I feel like he will not be the player we all wanted him to be.

I never thought I'd hear myself say this to someone else but you are obsessed with Gareth Barry and obviously not in a good way.

Leighton, as you well know we've had our arguments about Barry both on the board and in pm but I seriously question what kind of blue goes out of their way to single out one player constantly just to slate them at every given opportunity.

Even your location is dedicated to slagging him off, absolutely unbelievable.

Im not slating Barry I am just giving my views on him as a player. We are all not going to agree with what has been said about players. Also what about the people who has slated Given every single time there has been anything about Given v Hart and so on nothing said about them.
Its all about different views on a football site you will either argee with them or not no biggy really. I have praised him and I have slated him if he deserves praise I will give it out but as I have said we all have seen this before with Barry.

Lets face it Leighton, you've praised him ONCE and only after I tore a strip off you for constantly having a go at him. I have no problem with you not rating him - what I do have a problem with is the way you slag him off every chance you get.

Even after he has played out of his skin you're next comment always seems to be 'lets not get ahead of ourselves' or 'he started like this last season and look what happened'. Whenever Barrys name is brought up you're ALWAYS in there with a negative comment - even on a thread where everyone is singing his praises!!

And I reiterate what kind of a blue slags one of our own on their location?
