To be fair to him, he's played well in the last few games and you can't really single out him as poor today when everyone was terrible minus Silva.

NDJ will replace Viera, but ye I don't know what Barry offers to this team. But I am 100% sure that if/when we get into CH, another creative middlefield that can keep possession will replace him. When you look at other top teams their middlefield is miles ahead of us, even ManUre are better at keeping ball, and they admit that their middlefield sucks

I DISAGREE. :) I think hes a perfect player to have in any team wether its the first team or bench or sorting out the coffee's. He doesn't cause no trouble and does his job with minimum fuss. He doesn't score wonder goals, he doesn't have magical gliding fleet which make you orgasm and he isn't a Brainy super dooper tackler so no one really talks much about him.

Every team needs someone like him to keep the ball ticking and show a professional approach.

There wasn't exactly a load of options for him to pass to especially in the second half. Like a lot of our players he looked tired.
