May not have been the worst on the pitch but he is the most pointless. De Jong, Toure, and a proper creative midfielder should be our middle three next season. Toure can stay deep, negating the need for Barry while someone like Sneijder helps run the show and gives us more from our oft stale midfield.

I knew there was going to be a Barry thread, just knew it. I agree he was pretty poor today, and as we seem to live in a blame culture, Tevez, Yaya, Balotelli and Kolarov were woeful as well. But because Barry isn't a "superstar" lets pick on him! Why there has to be a scapegoat after every game i'll never know, especially as we won the game. As a team we were poor today, very poor, but we got the much needed win. Be thankfull.

his passing got worse as the game progressed but he and the whole team looked knackered so it's unfair really to slag him off, first half he was fine.

You can't just single out one player , he nor yaya nor many of those on the pitch played well . Both are good players and I think the amount of games is taking it's toll on the players , especially the midfield as pretty much the same 2 of Yaya and Barry have had to start every game and get little to on rest at all .
