Gotta say that he always has too. Never really put a foot wrong. Mr. Dependable, if you will. I rate Nige more than most but Gaz Baz is awesome.

Didn't think he had that good of a game today compared to last week where he was in contention for MoM.

He was probably one of our worst players but still had a decent game, and I believe he's still an important player for us and should feature when fit.

As the others have said, he is Mr Dependable and he puts in a shift week in week out, and always has done.

One thing I will say is that he seems more open to letting rip with the left foot now, which is a slight improvement, so I take your point on that side of his game.

CRazy as it sounds given Edin bagged four, but....I thought he was MOTM today (OK, joint with ED). Outstanding performance AGAIN.

He does prove, lightning pace and two good feet are no match for a tip top footballing brain.

This is true. The Game is now about movement and people can confuse movement with pace. Barry always seems to move into the place where the team need him most. If Barry plays well, then City play well.

Another Barry thread, it seems to me (even though speculation is we are still after De Rossi) that the defensive holding player role is now covered between NDJ and Barry. We will need them both before end of season. Once this break over we will be playing two games a week right up to Christmas, we need to get everyone in the squad fully fighting fit.

Barry surely will keep his place when DeJong is fit. Excellent today and in each game this season. Was good preseason too.

I've been very critical of Barry in the past but I can definitely see his worth now. Been critical of milner too in the past but was hoping against hope that he might make it into the team today 'cos last week he was great. Great competition all round. :-)

Does all the dirty jobs AND keeps the team ticking over, he was excellent again today.

I've been his biggest critic because, frankly, he hasn't been good enough. Today was his best game in a City shirt and shows he can do it. He looks like he's lost a bit of weight which will help.

Now he has to keep it up.................
