She's going to Arsenal on Loan
As I said before, sad to see her leave, but there is a sour taste to it in the end the way she's managed the whole situation...
I wouldn't loan her to Arsenal either, but I guess the defender coming our way from them is what made the club accept the loan (reluctantly I hope)
Completely agree. Her form dipped badly, she lost her place legitimately and given it was clearly she wasn't going to be staying it made sense to give other players minutes who were playing well and had a future at the club.I think the biggest issue was that this last season she didn't really deliver on the pitch. If she had done, then she should have been playing and it could have made it difficult for Taylor.
As it was, Park, Fowler, Hemp and Shaw, all deserved to play more, then there were the new signings too, who would also get a chance.
Kelly hasn't delivered on the pitch consistently for at least a couple of seasons. Shame how this has all ended. Hard to know the rights and wrongs from a distance.I think the biggest issue was that this last season she didn't really deliver on the pitch. So very true. We don't see what goes on inside of the confines of the club. We're not privy to all the training sessions and other events that involve the players or club officials so can't say for sure what has gone on. Chloe Kelly obviously wanted what was best for her but that wasn't what was best for the club and they decided (rightly in most City fans eyes) that going to the ragettes didn't work for them and so an acrimonious split has occurred. Remember teh good times we've had together and forget the rancid aftertaste of the departure.Kelly hasn't delivered on the pitch consistently for at least a couple of seasons. She's not on mine either. She has never been on it simply because she's repeatedly refused to give me her address. :)So very true. We don't see what goes on inside of the confines of the club. She's off the Christmas card list though.
One with which I agree. On a different note, I have a sneaky feeling we are witnessing the last season of this coach. The club will ultimately wake up, and he will be gone in summer. Granted, it is all baseless prediction.
Taylor may well be gone in the Summer but we have a wider problem to address. Many of our players over the last decade have considered City a stepping stone and very much second (possibly third rate) compared with playing for England. Our players always turned out for national teams, even in weeks before trophy deciders against Arsenal. Contrast that with Arsenal and Chelsea players who were often mysteriously ill or injured at similar times. Maybe our players did the right thing but it also indicates a lack of passion for our Club. This happened before Taylor and will probably happen after him.Taylor very poorly managed Rose Lavelle. Unlike Kelly who shined for a short period of her career, Rose has been consistently an outstanding player. A player of her caliber started only one game and played a relatively few minutes during her tenure at city. I don’t remember Rose badmouthing the club when she went back home. She did acknowledge that her time at City was challenging, but also added that this experience made her a better player. That what truly professional players should say when they go through a bad experience. I wonder what Kelly will say when she formally leaves the club a few months from now. Agree, I was very disappointed with the way she was managed. It was a major coup to obtain her signature and I was really looking forward to seeing her play. As with a growing list of players it didn't work out thoough.Taylor very poorly managed Rose Lavelle. At least she'll be closer to her beloved QPR.She's going to Arsenal on Loan
Good riddance. She's going to Arsenal on Loan
Guessing it would be Therese Sjogran and Charlotte O'Neil. You'd think having left a club where she'd had a lot of success Sjogran will have her vision for how the club moves forward and will have wanted license to do that. She doesn't really seem the type to have much time for Taylor's nonsense so I hope she's putting a list together of suitable replacements.Who makes the decision on Taylor?
I hope she is too. I still can't believe we extended his contract. On the pitch management is an area we are losing ground on.Guessing it would be Therese Sjogran and Charlotte O'Neil.
