Javier has put a solid performance in today, much more capable in defence, he's had some great tackles and interceptions. and top clearances.

Also great going forward, nice corners and his freekick was a whisker away from being a goal.

Definetly deserves his place in the team at the moment.

What a shame this post has130+ views and only 4 replies...mmmm?? is it because this is a positive post in a sea of negativity >>

well done garrido and given..too bright flames on a birthday cake with dodgy candles on it..

credit where credit is due.

who do you think will play when bridge gets back? personally i'd go bridge but it's an interesting question.

Was definitely solid today and had a lot to contend with, with Donovan playing very sharp down the right side. Could have gone very badly for him today but he toughed it out and put in a good performance.

He's really done a great job since Mancini brought him in from the woodshed. Let's hope it continues and we don't need to worry about LB anymore!
