They must have already paid for the 2030 World Cup if they are putting this much effort in.

Saudi Arabia has a population of roughly 36 million people, which is middle of the pack for big European leagues, but their national talent is very poor so they'd need to flood their league with expats to make it remotely interesting.

What's the ceiling? I think they could get as big as the Turkish League.
 
Another 10 years and Saudi will be a major destination, incredible some of the things going on there.
Just because the regime is pumping billions into tourism infrastructure should not normalise what the regime does and what it's views are. I've lived there and seen the control they exert.

I thought this thread was a bit tongue in cheek, seeing some of the replies is worrying.
