Gary Neville

What chuckle said is hardly far left. There is a terrible divide in the country at the moment. There is also a lot of racist bellends about. Being fuelled by billionaires who seem to want to make it worse
It’s just them trying to move the Overton window as far to the right as possible.

Imagine an ex footballer turned property developer trying to be described as a communist.

It doesn’t make sense, but it adds to the general narrative that anyone who doesn’t love their country unconditionally and fly as many flags as they can as traitors.

How dare a socialist drink champagne. It should be good old English sparkling wine.

What chuckle said is quite clear, in response to the murder of Jews by an Islamist nutter he referred to middle aged white men. The terrible divide however is not solved by expecting people who don't agree with you to suddenly agree with you because that isn't how it works.

Did a billionaire cause the stabbing of Jews or was that Islam or a mental health issue?:
Hard to say what caused it but as horrendous as it was there was also an inevitability to it. Given what’s been going on in Palestine. Now, why some complete oddball thinks trying to murder innocent Jews is the way to go i’ll never understand.

I think he was saying what happened was horrredous. Let’s face it any half right person would think that. However, he was making the point that people are then using this to carry on with this flag bullshit. We seen it after what happened in Southport. I know, let’s go out and smash cars up in honour of those poor kids.

Billionaires are happily fuelling this current divide. That is clear to see.

What he said was that what happened was horrendous but he didn't mention Palestine and he didn't mention Islamic extremism. However he mentioned flags which by anyone's standards is bizarre.

He's getting stick for it quite rightly, perhaps this very wealthy individual should think before he misspeaks.

Now that the DM is trying to conflate his video about flags with Heaton Park, does anyone know when he put out the video or has the DM or Mossad been sat on it?
The clip I saw made no reference to the attack in Manchester.

I’d wager there’s no flags on Jordan’s street.

Fortunately there’s none on my estate either.

I’m guessing most of the loons putting up flags are low wage or jobless people that probably blame immigrants for their situation when in fact it’s probably that they are just simpletons.

Every time this thread gets bumped, I get my hopes up that it's jelly and ice cream time.

A rag, City hating ****. Who would never have got a job with sky if he wasn't one of pisscans rags. I wonder who got him the job? I'm sure the pisscan had nothing to do with it.

Same as his mate spit, employed because of who he played for, not what he knows.

A pair of self serving, gobby, odious City hating cunts who have somehow become supposed experts in the game, despite being mediocre defenders, with the combined charisma of a pair of old shoes.

I've worked since being 12 years old
I am a 57 year old factory supervisor.
I am atleast average intelligence and dont consider myself a loon or a simpleton.
However I do have a St George flag displayed at home and a MCFC on derby day or Wembley trips.

I didn't know anyone had set fire to a mosque, which is why I didn't mention it.

But whatever the religion, it's horrific that people using places of worship, and the places themselves, are subject to hate attacks. Yesterday I had to drive down to the Fort Retail Park, so went through Prestwich, Crumpsall & Cheetham Hill. There was a huge police presence of course, including cars and police officers on the beat. I drove past mosques that had visible security outside. If you can't pray in peace then things have gone very wrong somewhere.
The fact you didn’t know anyone had set fire to a mosque goes to show the difference in reporting depending on the ethnicity or religion of the victim and highlights the institutional racism in this country.

Both acts were abhorrent, Neville is right in his comments regarding division in the country and the media play a big part in creating it.

My Cornish flag is a statement from an oppressed minority who were here long before you bloody English.
Cornwall for the Celts!
English out!
Ginger rules ok!

It goes to show I didn't look at the news. I searched the word "mosque" on the BBC News website and there were a few stories about it. When I searched "Peacehaven mosque" on my search engine, many MSM outlets had stories about it. So it seems to have been widely reported.

But I agree with you in general terms about the media doing a lot to fuel division.

The ironic thing being those billionaires are playing the bellends at both ends of the political spectrum, agitating the far right bellends whilst also brainwashing the liberal left bellends into being their Useful Idiots and supporting mass immigration.

Lets be right despite his comments the other day he is still a bellend :) if he came out and said something i agreed with he would be still a bellend...... ....... so lets simply agree the man is a Grade A weapon

People can come at it whichever angle they wish, mine is more on economics but there is a level of culture too. Neither of which are racist.

People are trying to stick up for their country which they believe is lost, which it is on many, many different levels. You are a weird ****, for thinking this country is in a good state and everyone should be happy. It is a mess and the fact you are saying people should go out and litter pick is a massive example of it. We pay countless taxes for things like litter to be picked you imbecile. The fact you want us to go out and do it speaks volumes, we want the things we pay for to be done already.
So should we all stick a union jack up then ?

Your prerogative pal but, never really got the flag waving sentiment myself.
Reminds me a bit of parents who think they love their kids more because they have tattoos with their faces or names.

I'm sure Neville wasn't aiming his comments at people who had flags previously and on their own property.
