Gate for Hull

Piss poor if we don't get near to 40k. Quarter final of a cup and tickets are less than £20. Yes there will be some that can't afford this on top of a season ticket etc but generally speaking there's no excuses other than can't be arsed because it's not United/Arsenal/Chelsea.

To be honest I wouldn't have gone had it been against United/Arsenal/Chelsea..... got better things to do during the week, these days I just about have free time on weekends to go to the games.
Sometimes people are just genuinely busy especially around this time of the year, I don't think a lot of people take that into consideration.
Like you said though if people would have turned up if the opponent was a bigger team then I agree there isn't any excuse not to turn up vs hull last night.

It's up to people whether they choose to go, personally I am in my 50's and still get a buzz going to the games whoever we are playing, enjoyed it last night. Would have preferred more in the ground but it didn't stop my enjoyment, and the traffic was better

Charge £10 a ticket for adults £1 for kids it will be packed and the ground will be rocking

absolutely bang on, it may sound daft but that £5 makes all the difference, I go to all home games anyway but do think the lower the better especially this month, next week v gladbach wont be a full house and I cant blame people for not coming, money is hard to come by
I live in bury and would watch bury if city weren't playing but its too dear even at £15 last year, £10 people don't mind any higher people don't come.
the crowd last night was decent anyway but every other club that is obsessed with our attendances cant wait to jump on to it, just leave them to it

My first post in 3 years or so due to me forgetting my password and not bothering to reset it but funny enough was just looking through my last post and the same arguement was going on 3 years ago about liverpool and the semi final. £18 was a fair price last night, cant believe people expect less. City arent a charity, you would pay more to watch 2 local league sides. City try to be fair with their pricing in my view and try to make these cups games as cheap as possible (kids for £1 etc). The people who want to go will go and like other posts have said 38000+ is a very good crowd.

When we played palace the kids were off school so attendance was always gna be more. Don't know why they opened the 3rd tier tho should fill lower tiers first.. Either way well done City nearly ready for another wembley trip hopefully. Silva and de bruyne were top notch last night. Everton we will get next round my guess.

Will be interesting to see how League Cup Final tickets are distributed if we get there. My understanding was that if you are not signed up to the League Cup scheme you are bottom of the list regardless of how many loyalty points you have. Suspect with 42,000 season tickets now that quite a few people will be disappointed, may make a difference to attendances next year!
