Forgive me for religious references but St Peter will take one look at him and say "You've supported City all those years - you're in".

I'm reminded of a passage in the book of revelation (8:1)

"The lamb broke the seventh seal and there was silence in heaven for about half an hour".

That won't be happening again.

Woke up this morning and for a moment it wasn't there in my head, then I remembered it had really happened and got that sickly feeling all over again

Just walked in work and popped on off topic before i start to find we have lost a favourite )-;
Like many others i never met Gaudino but the hours on here that he had us in fits of laughter will be remembered and missed always, RIP Sam

Hopefuly his friends and family can take some comfort from the fact that so many people on here have been so moved by his death, when so few actually knew the man himself - got to be an indication of how loved he must have been in "real life" and what kind of person he really was.

Just logged and seen this, absolutely speachless. Never had the priviladge of meeting GSC in the flesh but he gave me many laughs on here. The place will never ever be the same without him and I can't get my head around it.
