Sam was my best mate and the reason I'm a City fan. I was by his side last night as he passed away.

I popped on hear this morning cause someone mentioned there were some kind words going about. I'm astounded. I had no idea there would be so many people on here saying such great things about him. So thanks to everyone who has posted.

I felt the need to put up my thoughts today too, they are here if you feel like reading them.

Don't post much but am an avid reader of Bluemoon daily.

GSC certainly was a top poster and always made me laugh.

Like many have said I never had the pleasure to meet him but am totally shocked and can't believe I feel the way I do about someone I have never met.

I genuinly thought this was a WUM when I started reading this thread then after about 6 pages I realised it certainly was not. What a shame, RIP GSC the place will not be the same without you. Thoughts with family and friends.

Met Sam the other week at the "knees up" in town, seemed a top bloke and didn't give me the impression of being ill.

Thought I'd not seen him post for a few days.

I didn't know Sam but in many ways felt like I did!
