Both sides have apparently denied it.

I'm sure if it was true/close... they just wouldn't comment.

City have said nothing.

Inter's CEO said "it's speculation", not "it's rubbish".

If we were seriously negotiating, wouldn't we just not comment... Commenting and adding to the speculation seems pointless.

You reckon? Could also look that its a way of generating even more publicity for when the deal goes through. Dont think anyone knows for sure unless they are involved at a certain level with either of the 2 clubs.

One things for sure is that if we have given up on Nasri, we are definitely still going to do our best to sign an attacking midfielder and Sneijder is the obvious canditate IMO.

While Gazzetta claim Sneijder to City is a done deal, SportMediaSet claim it is "close". So contradictions of news giants again in Italy...

I 100% called this last week after seeing city and inters friendliness in Dublin.

It was obvious. sneijder was joined at the hip with our lads all weekend.Garry cook was Mia off golfing with inters bosses.

We need a Dutch speaker to look at that vid in the tunnel as it looks like sneijder says something along the lines of "I'm not wearing those" to nige about the socks :-)

One thing that I'm confident about is that we are locked in a continuous dialogue with Inter negotiators with regards to mutually beneficial transfers. This may or may not include player swaps.

In the meantime it has now been reported that Eto'o is considering a mega offer from Russia.

That, if it goes ahead will enable them to complete the signing of Lucas, Kucka, Tevez and Casemiro - all reported to be wanted by Moratti and Gasperini.
