My thinking is two brilliant teams which can alternate between Champions League and Premiership and be able to perform as well in FA cup and Carling cup. All player being interchangeable, there is no 1st and 2nd eleven just MCFC squad.

If you look at the original Gazetta thread, there are numerous quotes from around the web contrary to your assumption. Don't get me wrong, I'm no ITK but I just don't think anyone can 100% make a claim with such certainty one way or the other as you have done. Now if you said 'In my opinion' fair do's, but to base your comment on what a few deluded Rags have said is no basis for fair comment IMHO.
