Can't be arsed starting a new thread, or digging up and old one, however IF we didn't get Wes then what about Kaka as the attacking mid?

Considering we wanted him at 90mil two years ago surely he'd only set us back about 30mil now, similar age to Wes and maybe we can unload Ade as part of the deal - 15/20mil + Ade wouldn't be too bad imo.

Thoughts?

I would have him in a heart beat mate, provided he past a PROPER medical

-- Tue Aug 09, 2011 2:21 pm --

Injuries have done for him i think mate and he is about that age that Brazilian footballers decide to pile the weight on and become generally shit.

Not for me.

perhaps just a slight generalisation there mate?

That's if they are from the pisshead crew like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, Kaka seems to be a clean living lad.

On the injury front, it's not like Wes hasn't had his problems - at our place getting 30 or so games out of a player like that would be fine.

He has all the ability but has he the hunger to do it again in a tough league like ours?

Would be a big money investment and i just couldn't see everyone involved backing the deal tbh but eh, what the fuck do i know.

-- Tue Aug 09, 2011 2:22 pm --

It was a light hearted comment mate ;-)

Still a no for me. He had his chance and said no, time to move on.

Tevez and Balotelli for Eto'o and Sneijder. id take that straight swap. never going to happen though.

He was using Gazzetta as source, so nothing new

Is it a verified account mate?

Got to be honest Sneijder and Nasri puts us in CL final contention. We need to wrap these transfers up soon though. Every one of our signings that has come late has struggled. Our formation and style of play seems to be tough for an arriving footballer.

Don't think he's coming to England. Maybe it's naive of me, but why would Inter give up their David Silva? They can't buy a replacement with the fee the rags would pay, and apparently we're not interested. Tevez isn't a replacement for what Sneijder does.

It just doesn't add up unless someone wants to pay silly money.
