Starmer needs to get hold of this Diane Abbott situation.

I disagree with her politics and I support Starmer's cut throat kicking out the communists strategy but she's been treated like shit here.

I think for the sake of putting a lid on this they should come out today and say she can stand and they've let her back in as she's apologised for that awful letter and has completed the antisemitism course etc.

Totally different situation to Corbyn who thinks he's done no wrong.

And I'm firmly from the Blairite wing of the Labour Party.

It would neutralise and criticism of allowing her back too as any Tory who went on the attack over her and what she represents has in the last 48hrs tweeted and messaged THEIR support for Dianne Abbott to undermine Starmer - just throw that back in their faces

Agreed.

Surely they'll be focus grouping the hell out of it over the last 24 hrs and crunching the numbers to work it out.

If the Abbott situation is the worst thing that happens to Starmer in this election, he’s going to win a huge majority.

Meanwhile, the best thing Sunak could do is go into hiding for the next month to not make any more gaffes.
I think Ant and Dec are running his election campaign.

Brewery
Titanic museum
Probably be a car crash testing centre next.

Come on, Sunak is man of the people! He caught a train yesterday and even "took some photos to show my kids to show them what it was like"

Lots more to come.

Visiting some grave diggers
Doing a photoshoot at a cafe called 'Gaff's'
Driving a removals van
Going to the Emirates and standing next to a 'Visit Rwanda' sign

Loads of opportunities for the PM yet, the possibilities are endless.
