Except teachers of course. They're all loony lefties.

I didn't and I am an engineer. Worked full time from being 16 and did not get my degree till I was 35. Never voted Tory in my life and never will.

This isn’t attention seeking, more a general point of annoyance.

For the first time ever I’m setting off to vote and don’t know what I’m going to do when I get there.

Since Thatcher, the higher voter turnouts have tended to result in Tory wins.

Did your constituency vote remain? I suspect that this is what is driving the high turnout in my area.

Yes, although seemingly for the Eu referendum my village classes as a different constituency than for the GE

Well, just back home, strangest feeling i've ever had voting, live in a safe Labour seat, voted Brexit as did a small majority in my area yet our MP then voted against the majority in her constituency as she is so far up Corbyns arse, she could tell you what he ate last Christmas.

Went for TBP on the basis the candidate has personally done a lot for a group of fishermen I know very well in Fleetwood and it was them or the Tory's...

Well not tonight obviously but he will go Spanish, I would imagine in the spring.
At the moment I'd go for Angela Rayner, but that could change depending on manifesto etc.
Someone preferably with no 'baggage' for the media to get at ( not necessarily baggage for me).

Some good points. Let me clarify that I never suggested the hospital themselves “staged” the photo. Not a chance they’d do that.

Also, you seem to be stating it as fact that the child had pneumonia - I thought it turned out that that wasn’t the case?

Your first point, I meant that the fake news that came out was defending against the idea that nurses put him on the floor rather than the mother, despite that never being suggested, not that the hospital staged it

Second point, yes you’re right, that should have suspected before it. At that stage, I’m not sure it matters though to the real basis for the story.
