Well not tonight obviously but he will go Spanish, I would imagine in the spring.
At the moment I'd go for Angela Rayner, but that could change depending on manifesto etc.
Someone preferably with no 'baggage' for the media to get at ( not necessarily baggage for me).

Raynor is a very good shout.

When she speaks she is an effective communicator and shows real potential.

She must however break free of the Momentum yoke that would be placed around her neck.

It really is a left leaning forum, Ive read quite a bit of that election thread and its kinda the opposite of this one regarding bitterness, falling out, vitriol, which i guess a lot of us have been part of.

As for their poll though.

Which lies? I’ll reiterate, have you read either article? I’ve not said a single thing that either article don’t say and responded to people that have said that it was fully staged (despite the mother explaining the whole thing and giving photos of the whole thing, which were published in both articles) or that there was a bed available that the mother moved him off, both of which aren’t true. Let’s flip this round. Why is it that the main thing that is your issue is the media manipulation of the story rather than what the actual story is? Do you do that with all stories in all tabloids? Do you only focus on the headline or read the corresponding article too? If you do and your crusade is actually about media sensationalisation and the narrowing of reporting of news and editorial opinion, then I’ll wholeheartedly support you. I won’t accept misrepresenting the actual facts within articles to justify it though.

You still don't understand that the problem do you? The top and bottom is the media politicizing the genuine plight of a child by falsely claiming he was having his treatment lying on the hospital floor not in the hospital bed he needed. A powerfully symbolic story if true but the point is it was not truthful. After treatment in triage ward he had to wait in a chair and later on a trolley for several hours until a bed became free - he wasn't being treated on the floor. The mother's picture and its headline reinforced the lie that NHS staff are treating kids on the floor. The idea she somehow 'explained the whole thing' is a complete fiction, she can't - it didn't happen. This is not about Tory shortcomings either, everybody knows about those, it's about how the situation was falsely presented by the Mirror for political purposes and not whether the child's illness or the failure of resource or the mother's concern were genuine.

I cannot be arsed to try and analyse that poll - and certainly not go and have a look see - but……..

Is that Poll not a bit strange - I would have thought most scumcafe posters would live all over the country and not in a left-leaning Manchester

I didn't and I am an engineer. Worked full time from being 16 and did not get my degree till I was 35. Never voted Tory in my life and never will.

To be honest a lot of professional people are aren't they? This will be a Tory landslide my joking protest vote for Labout wont make an iota of difference to that and your anecdotal evidence doesn't make a jot of difference to the point the other poster was making bud because it isn't the norm.
